We had a wonderful stay in Ella, Sri Lanka. The staff was friendly and provided us with a balcony and mosquito nets. We didn't want to leave!

The rooms were spotless and cosy. The location was quiet. The staff at our accommodation was hospitable and very friendly. The bathroom was very comfortable and had a bath. The breakfast was delicious and the food was amazing.

What an amazing place to stay! Spellbound! the host is simply admirable! She goes out of her way to help you - we had asked her about nearby spa and train timing which she didn't know, but still called up people and let us know the details! Room is sparkling clean, view is amazing - there is a mini waterfall visible from the room, although it was dried up when we went. You can see monkeys, peacock and many other animals in the forest from your balcony, and even the train is visible from here! Best place we have stayed, would definitely recommend!

The room was airless and stuffy even when we used the fan. And it has only one plug so you cant charge your phone and use the fan at the same time.

The view of the mountains was absolutely stunning and provided a great backdrop to our stay. the new rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, with hot water always available. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast and dinner. the portions were generous and the food was tasty. We especially enjoyed eating with a view of the monkeys playing in the trees, which was a fun experience for our kids.

The location of the hotel was a bit far from the city center, about a 10-15 minute walk. This was especially challenging with young children, as it took longer for us.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, organizing tuk tuks for us and giving us great recommendations for things to do in the area. We had a great stay in Ella, close to nature and the beauty of Sri Lanka. The location in the rainforest was amazing and unbeatable. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the nice and kind staff. The breakfast offered a huge variety of food and was delicious.

It created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for senior people like me to relax and unwind. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat amidst nature's beauty. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable, with clear paths and no steep stairs, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the surroundings.

I would have appreciated better assistance from the children working there in terms of providing information about nearby medical facilities and pharmacies. It is important for senior people to have access to necessary services in case of any health emergencies.

I had the most amazing stay at a home stay in Ella. the room was spacious, with comfortable beds and a private bathroom. the view from the balcony was breathtaking, with a waterfall and lush rainforest vegetation. I even spotted monkeys and birds in the trees. the family running the home stay was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing delicious homemade breakfast and offering assistance with transportation and local information. It was a truly wonderful experience and the highlight of my trip. Cons: All good 👍🏼.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to everything but still feels like you are in a rainforest. the view of the hills from the room is stunning and creates a peaceful atmosphere. the room is equipped with an electric cooker, allowing guests to make tea.
